About

I err on the side of writing too much because there's so much I want to express.

Glenn E. Taylor, born in Mississauga, is a writer, creator, and novelist. He is best known for co-writing 40 Acres with R.T. Thorne, a post-apocalyptic film set in a future where food is scarce, following the last descendants of a Black family of farmers in Canada as they defend their homestead from an organized militia. The film premiered at TIFF 2024 and was widely praised by critics, including The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and Playback.
Glenn excels at world-building, creating vivid, intricate settings that serve as backdrops for emotionally rich, character-driven narratives.

As a writing partner, he is someone who can help strengthen the storylines and elevate their emotional depth and character arcs. His experience in world-building and crafting multi-dimensional characters can add value to the thematic resonance you are aiming for. As a writer, his collaborative approach is about open communication and adaptability. He works closely with partners to ensure the story stays true to their creative vision while offering fresh perspectives where needed. He loves all forms of themes and genres, focusing on Science fiction. Look for the release of his first Fantasy/Sci-fi book this year, which will remain a mystery until it launches.
